So, this weekend I got a camera, and then complained about winter being over so I couldn't get any good winter shots. Guess who made a final desperate push today? That's right, our old friend King Winter is rattling his sabre.

Granted, the snow is likely to disappear again pretty fast, but I did get some half-way decent shots off.

In other news, my skills in handling the new camera keep growing, but I can't for the life of me get an the aperture past 5.0 in manual mode. Supposed to go to 3.5 according to the lens specs... Maybe it's just yet another case of user error. One thing is for sure, I'm not gonna consult the manual to find out :D
